B-Wear Cares Breast Cancer & Alzheimer's Donations
Mar 12th 2024
B-Wear Cares is proud to report the most recent donations resulting from the sales of our designs specific to the causes that are dear to many of us.
Our Alzheimer’s shirts were designed in honor of Grandma Jean - the mother of Lee Biles who founded our parent company 5B’s, Inc. along with his wife Vicci Biles over 40 years ago. Since her passing from Alzheimer's, the family has kept Grandma Jean’s memory alive by fundraising in our local community and participating in the yearly Walk To End Alzheimer’s.
To date, Vicci's team has raised over $25,000 since taking on the project. Grandma Jean’s team is always amongst the top Individual Team leaders in our region. With the successful sales of our B-Wear Care’s Alzheimer’s shirts, an additional donation of $1,000 will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association, to help provide necessary resources to hopefully one day find a cure. Without your partnership these donations would not be possible.
In the Fall, we dropped off 72 Totes of Hope to our local Breast Care Center to be handed out to patients recently diagnosed. Each tote included an exclusive B-Wear t-shirt specific to Breast Cancer, a notepad, an embroidered blanket, and necessities one might need during chemo treatments.
We thank you for your support and look forward to the next B-Wear Cares initiative, which is to bring support and awareness to those contemplating suicide.
